About the wine - We ferment our Estate Chardonnay right in the barrel. This classic Burgundian technique lends layered richness and nuance to our already outstanding Red Mountain fruit. We emphasize the fresh, crisp characteristics of Chardonnay; it's our preference to use oak to enhance these flavors rather than cover them up.

Tasting Notes - Pronounced minerality, tart acidity, and fresh green fruit notes are framed by a kiss of French oak. Small amounts of Roussanne and Viognier are blended in to enhance the nose and fatten up the mid-palate.
