About the Wine - We are very careful to preserve the classic characteristics of Merlot. You'll never hear us say, "This is a Cabernet drinker's Merlot" because we treat Merlot like the distinct, delicious, and unique varietal that it is.
Tasting Notes - Spicy oak complements a dense core of dark plum and black cherry. Red Mountain's trademark minerality and dust is present as well. Free-run juice leads to a juicy softness often lacking in Washington State Merlots.
